Ive got my stock trans cooler still after putting on the tru cool. Will that work for the oil cooler?

Also thanks for the generous offer.

I don't see why not. Just flush the ATF out and you'll have to get the zip tie things that go through the radiator or mount it some other way. It looks new and was my trans cooler until I replaced it. Maybe someone else may think otherwise. Here's a pic and it has 3/8" inlet and outlet.

I've gotten a lot of help from people on here and I'd like to pay it forward. And it sounds like you need any financial break you can get.

Cooler is a cooler. Won't matter. Trans oil or engine oil your fine.
Flush / drain what trans fluid you can out and call it good.

about ready to put the engine back into the truck but not sure what to do with the drive plate. When I pulled it I put #1 cylinder at TDC and marked the top of the plate so it would go on the same way. Does it matter now that its going on a different engine? Is there a certain way it should be installed?

I have an auto cal from BBP my truck isnt anything fancy but they are always quick and I've had no problems with them. When I asked about boosting my truck he said he had done many of them.

forgot to post this when I pulled the engine. I kept track of just about everything but found this under the truck after removing the engine. Not sure if it goes on the bellhousing or engine. Anyone recognize it?
