the welded sir michaels pan has the knockout behind the license plate just like the bolt in one. as stated paint the back side, I used rustoleum hard hat flat black and coated the hell out of it. Of course you will have to buy the spare tire relocator if you plan to keep the spare under the rear. the sir michaels piece is great quality and fit. I have been very pleased with my welded pan and it gets lots of compliments. DO IT!
