Tire size question
Currently running 275/45 r20 tires on 8" wide wheels. I would like something an inch or 2 wider. Any help is appreciated. I'm bad with figuring tire sizes. Thanks.

use this calculator for your tires. Just remember that your 275 is your width in millimeters. I figure a 305/40 will give you about the same height tire with the same sidewall with 1.2" wider tire. 1" = 25.4 millimeters

Try this for a quick calculator and it allows you to compare different tires sizes and widths.
