Bught a buffer a couple months back, but I got a variable speed Milwaukee buffer/polisher. It's strictly the rotating kind so you do have to be a little carefull. I just used the mothers cleaner wax instead of something with a cutting agent in it. I think that's where most people run into issues of burning the clear off and such.

35-38. Depending. Had to put a water pump on it a while back. Not fun but I didn't know how to do it. Took me hours should have taken minutes I found out after buying a Chiltons manual.

Yea...i converted and refilled the AC couple months ago....gets colder than my truck i think....that car was the best 300 bucks i ever shaelled out...ha...the mileage average jus keeps on dropping on the truck now.....thats what i wanted......the mpg helps to...35-38 w/ the AC running...cant beat it......get some pics of your polsihing job up...i wanna see how it turns out...

Sorry to 'jack the thread!

I've heard this before but wasn't exactly sure about what you're referring to. Are you speaking of foam pads that have an elastisized hem like the terrycloth and lambswool type? I've never seen those; where are they available?

I'll post up pics when I get done. Don't really think you would be able to see the difference in a pix. Dunno. Guess I could do a before and after on a panel to see.
