08 Silverado 4/8 drop on 22s wheel tire size question

4/7 djm drop. CAs up front and flip kit plus extended shackels on first notch for total of 8" in the rear. 22" x9" cattivos wheels with 10mm offset. Have 305/40 tires and they rub inner fenders when turning and the driver's side has really no clearance on top due to lean. I ordered 265/35s and wanted to see if anyone might know if they would give me more clearance without any other issues. Also I only ordered 2 265/35s for now and am wondering how it would look with them up front and the 305/40s in the rear.

In general, 305/40/22's are around 31.6" od with a 12.3" section width while 265/35/22's are around 29.3" od with a 10.6" section width. So, 2.3" shorter should fix your clearance issue at the top in the front, however, you may not like the extra fender gap. The 1.7" narrower may or may not keep you from rubbing when you turn. If the djm control arms don't have some type of steering stop built into them you may rub the inners regardless.
I like the way the truck looks as it sits and would try to find a way to fix the lean condition to see if that fixed the issue with the drivers front. If that didn't pan out and smaller tires were going to be the fix I'd probably look at some 265/40/22's as they should be 30.3" od (1.3" shorter) and 10.6" section width (1.7" narrower) to help stop the inner fender rub.
No one would probably notice you were running staggered sizes if you choose to go that way. Only down side I see would be no tire rotation if that's a concern to you.

Thanks for the reply! I would like to fix the lean..I do have the extended shackels on the back and I've read that its possible to adjust them differently to fix the lean on one side. Problem is it rubs on top of the passenger side too if you hit a decent bump in the road. It had 275/45/20s on it before and didn't have any problems. I believe that setup is close to the same as the 265/35/22. Correct me if I'm wrong.
