Default Tahoe tail light HELP!!!

I HATE the stock tail lights on this thing (I HATE amber) but I thought surely there would be some "cool" aftermarket piece that work swap...no...can't find a damn thing!

Will the tail lights from any other vehicle (Escalade, Yucon, Silverado, VW...whatever) direct swap into the 2004 Tahoes? I'm desperately trying to widen my search for either an all red or all clear tail light!

IF NOT....what would be the best tail light to either candy or smoke (I'm thinking some kind of clear/Altezza/whatever)? Then what's the best paint to use? I have both an airbrush and a spray gun.

I think the escalade taillights will be a direct swap, but they will stick out without the cladding

I'd go with these myself

the escalades will but the bottoms will stick out a lil being that you dont have the cladding crap

tahoe/yukon/suburban/denali stock tails are all the same

i would suggest the LED tails that "magnetized" suggested or

Do either of you have any experience with those LED tail lights?

I have seen pics of some aftermarket LED lights and they all seem kind of "orange-ish" when they light up (I guess due to using white LEDs instead of red inside). I suppose a person could always candy them over to give them a deeper red color.

you should just candy the amber in your stock lights. it would be cheaper then new tails and look alot better IMO

I have aset of these being smoked On top of them already being black.

they are the IPCW Bermuda black #ledt 304Cb I think? They come already black and the LED's are nice, bright, and most of all strait.I think they needed a little more dark tint added to them, should have them back from the painter soon an will post up new pic's.
