Default suggestions on tires.

Picking up some silverado ss rims tues. and was wondering what tires people would suggest? my bro has goodyear eagles with his 20's and they've last him quite awhile and haven't given him any problems. Any other suggestions?

The SS 20's I just bought have 275/60 Goodyear Eagles on em and they seem like they've lasted well.
I'm need to get rid of them though, they're waaaay too tall for my static dropped truck though.. needing some 275/40's or something.

I've got a set of 285/50-20 General Grabber UHP tires on my SS wheels. It's too early to review them because they only have 250 miles on them, lol. Alot of people give these tires good reviews on this website though.

i really like my proxes s/t....but toyo discontinued them. They have the ST IIs now, so if I had to change I'd go with those eventhough they aren't as good looking

I have about 20K miles on my Hankook Ventus H06 275/55 r20's. Ride is nice and still have a lot of tread left. In comparison, my son has 22's General UHP's with about 15K miles and the wear seems to be excessive. I had a really disapointing set of Kumho's on my previous truck. Wore bad, loud and lots of tire shake at highway speeds. I will probably replace with Hankooks when the time comes.

I've got about 300 miles on my 305/50/20 Cooper Zeon XST's and so far I like them. Quiet on the highway, and a nice looking tread pattern. Haven't had any adverse weather yet to be able to report on that.

American made tire, by and American owned company!

I like my Hankook Ventus. They look great and perform great. I have about 25k on them and they are holding up pretty good.
