It depends on how deep the scratch is. If you can get your fingernail stuck by going over the scratch then the best way without having to repaint it is to get some duplicolor touch up paint. You just keep filling the scratch in till its slightly above the surronding paint area. Let it dry then you can wet sand the area and buff it out to bring the shine back. If the scratches are not too deep then you might try using an more aggressive cutting compoud as well as an aggressive cutting pad.

Get some 2500gr sand paper and a spray bottle, have at it, after that some good 3m finishing compound.. Be even, uniform on the strokes with the paper, keep it wet with the spray. More then likely if the scratches arn't to deep when it comes out it will look better then the rest of the truck, so you might want to get the clay bar and have at it.. If you do buff it with a buffer buffer(the one that actually spins) be sure to have the pad pulling away from the edges or bye bye to the clear coat..

Depending on where, the sevarity(sp) of it and call the dent doctors, they are pretty damn good. If it is crease or corner, chances are they won't be able to get them out, but for lil door dings, I ahve seen great results
