I like the drop on the truck but the wheel color has to go. I don't like dark wheels.

How dark is your window tint?

Yeah, wheels look like their covered in brake dust...lol....they need a good scrub.

Only kidding, that's pretty cool how you did that though...nice truck.

thanks, i wanna drop it like in the picture.. but i dont want to c-notch the frame. and aluminum wheels are a pain in the *** to keep clean, especially in corpus where its humid, and salty.

So I thought about powder-coating them, but.. i like the aluminum look.. i think ill just keep 'em polished. lol

Judging by your Photoshop'd pic, your looking at a 4-6 drop. I might be wrong but you'll definitely want if not need a c-notched frame.

I kinda like the graphite gray wheel section. It wouldn't look so much like brake dust if they were really that color.

You might want to change to a chrome grill and buy a smooth paintable bumper cover. It made a huge difference on my Silverado.

Skid, do the tires rub in the front?

That looks freakin wicked.

Here are some real pics of my dirty truck.

No, they don't rub. I originally used BellTech's 2505 spindles (don't buy these) and 1" springs and it rubbed pretty bad. I put the factory spring back to gain that inch back and everything worked great. After everything was done it ended up being about a 2.5" drop in the front.

Thanks, I really like the cowl hood. I was going to get one but decided to to sell my truck so I could afford a garage(w/ a house attached of course). With all of the rebates I ended up buying a new truck and lowered my payments quite a bit.

Skid, nice truck! I totally agree with you on the chrome grille and smooth bumper cap. It made my truck look SO much better.
