Default Need Help with Denali conversion

Hello everyone!! Idk if this is the right place to put this. But I’ve searched this forum for hours and have found no another’s or anywhere. But i have 02 scsb Silverado that I’m doing a Denali swap on. My question is... Is there anyway i can mount the Denali front bumper on the truck without having the Denali front bumper support? If so is there a write up you can point me in the direction of? It’s a special support and is a mothereffer to try to find new or used. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Denali bumper cover would be impossible to use with out the re-bar. It would just flop around as it barely holds it's shape standing alone. Be sure to also buy the foam filler piece that goes between the re-bar and the bumper skin. The filler keeps the top of the bumper skin from showing waves. Doing this conversion on a Silverado you will need a Sierra hood, fenders, headlights, Denali park lenses, and a Denali grill. It's a much simpler conversion on a 99-02 Sierra.

That Denali bumper reinforcement (re-bar) is still available new under part numbers (GM1006414 and 15060470). Rock Auto has it for $168 + shipping. It's a petty simple conversion taking only a few hours excluding the painting.

I did a full write up on the conversion over on another truck forum HERE with all the part numbers, tools and bolt locations.

Here is the foam filler sitting in place on top of the re-bar.

i will say, the denali headlights are WAY worth it over the stock ones - particularly if you do an HID swap

Do the Denali lights take 9005 and 9006 bulbs?

9005 for both lows & highs, and the housing should have a 9006 to 9005 adapter pigtail built into it for the low beams because all the trucks themselves use the same headlight wiring loom.
