Default denali headlight conversion

I am thinking about swapping out my stock GMC 1500 series headlights in favor of the Denali projector headlights and I am wondering if there will be anything else that I will have to swap out to make the conversion work, like a grill or hood or something.

i was thinking about doing this also.
i went to the dealership to see how much the headlights would cost and the *sshole up there (he was very, very rude) told me that i couldn't just swap out the headlights, that i had to get the whole front clip...and you guessed it, the cost was pretty high. he told me about $1600.00
to buy the whole clip. Now, do I think that only the headlights can be swapped, YES. Do I think dealerships suck, YES. Am I going to try this anyway, YES. Now, finding them might be my only struggle, so if you guys find out where I can get a pair shoot me a message! Thanks!!

There is no change in sheetmetal required. I'm not sure about wiring/bulb size issues. This swap was covered in Sport Truck magazine w/in the last 6-8 months. There may be more info for you there.

Why don't you just get some aftermarket projectors made for the truck? I do know you can't replace the lower marker lights w/o replacing the clip.

02-Z71: Go back to that dealer and tell that parts guy to kiss your ***. Then get his manager in on it. Nothing pisses me off more than someone that knows their job is to deal with customers and is still rude as hell. What dealer was it and who was the person, I feel like calling him and asking about some custom muffler bearings. And I know they make them because my cousin in Alabama said so.

that link didnt work but here are the part numbers.
# 15166756 - LH
# 15166757 - RH

from gmpartsdirect they are $152.70 a piece. they will rape you on the shipping though. all the GM stuff i order i buy from samtaylor.com. they have really good prices and cheap shipping. i would order from them personally.
