Are these bulbs like christmas lights to were if one buld goes out they all do, if so is there an easy ay to tell positive and negative connections. If this isint the case what could be the probles? the A/C controls on the 99-02s are in a series . . . so if one goes out, they all go out . . . I don't know if I have pics of a completed one that I've done. It's best to use a meter and mark all of the "+'s" before starting . . .

Unless you use really bright (really annoying) white LEDs . . . it has a little green tint to it . . . more like babby yack green

takes about 6-8hrs for your first time . . . I messed up my a/c controls on my 02 once, and then yanked out 3 sliders on the 03 and up A/C controls . . . so yeah it was a learning experience. . . . and yes too much heat in one spot will kill a board in 3-4 seconds

I've kind of lost interest in doing these . . .

cheap resistors or too much heat when soldering will do that . . .

I haven't done LED's in mine. They were just replacement switches from GMPD. Not sure what I'm going to do about fixing them. I may just get some bulbs from radio shack to solder in. Not real happy that it burned out in less than 2 years though.

I was wandering if anyone has or knows where i can find details on changing the lights to leds in the stock 2004 sierra crew cab radio? I have found the change over for the cluster and everything else but the radio.

Thank you any help is appreciated
