Default guage cluster (IPC) questions!!! please help

Ok, I want to put an Escalade ipc, or SS ipc in my truck.... few questions, concearns...
1) what programing do I use, 04' caddy? or 04' chevy? or does matter?
2) only way to get a "new" one is through dealer, and they arent new, they are rebuilt. Have to have oe number off back of old ipc, vin#, and mileage so new one can have mileage and vin codded in it. Programming mileage at dealer, is not possable. so where, and how to get one and avoid core charge??
3) half ton trucks, have vacuume boost brakes, and ipc will throw idiot light if proper signal from booster pump not received, if install caddy, or ss ipc, how do i avoid this? will programming from my truck 04 2500 correct this?

SO ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED, MY OIL PSI GUAGE IS JACKED UP, OUT OF 70,000 MILE WARRANTY GM OFFERS ON IPC'S, AND LIKE THE REST OF YOU, IM A TIGHT WAD!! THANKS...........

Also you can go to www.jpcustoms.com. They have the clusters and they will do programming.
