Default Got a new truck! 2005 ccsb Z71

Got a new truck this weekend. It's bone stock . . for now. I have all kinds of ideas for it but all your opinions are welcome. I just snapped a couple quick pictures in the driveway.

In the city. Do you ever take your truck to Gateway? Everytime I've gone I'm the only GM truck there.

No, my last truck was way to slow to be taking it to the track. I go with my buddies when they take their cars, but I never have run.

You should run it, it's fun.

Well, I agree. But I would keep the RCLB as the DD and mod the **** out of that crew cab. Trying to make a heavy pig fast is much more interesting than lighter vehicles IMO.

Sorry I forgot to say that the rclb is gone now. This is my one and only. I just wrote a pretty decent size check so I won't be doing anything big for quite awhile. Just small stuff like debadge it and I want to paint match the mirror caps. I'm wondering if I should leave the nerf bars on or take them off. . . .

That sucks you had to get rid of the Reg cab. If that's the case I would just leave it alone drivetrain wise. You never know when something breaks or goes wrong and you have no DD anymore.
