Default Gauge needles might be off after LED install.

Today I attempeted to install my Led light in my Escalde cluster but found they will not work on 03 + GM's. While in was in there I had the clear face off. With the face off I did accidently move some of the needles around not meaning too. By doing this are my needles off they were never taken off just moved up and down some. The only thing I noticed that the Speedo when the key is on and off looks like it hangs down more than normal almost to the middle info center. It might just be me paranoid hopefully. But the main thing is my needles off now or not.

Thanks

There should be a little stop post for your speedo needle. Did you break it off accidentaly when you pulled the bezel off of the cluster?

For the stop post I don't remember seeing it. That is proably why it is hanging down so low. Will this now cause my speedo to be off.

There should be a hole, or some sort of evidence that there was a post there. I don't have the 03-up set up, but I have a post below 0mph and above 100mph.

I removed my oil pressure gauge needle, I installed in the wrong position and it caused it to be clocked 90* off. I had like 2psi at 1500rpm.

I can't really check to see if the post is missing due to already dropping my truck off this evening at the body shop. So by just moving a few other needles around could they be off. I never took them off their hinges just moved up and down some.

If you didn't remove them, they should be fine.

You have bump stops if you havent removed them I believe. Them moving around will not do anything. My little bro was playing with my escalade cluster before I installed it and the needles were going all directions and my cluster works fine you should be good.

Sounds better and better with the responses I have been getting here lately. The only thing I think now that my bump stop for the speedo is broke or missing now beacuse the speedo needle comes all the way down to the upper corner of the middle info center. Is this suppose to do this I can't remember and don't have my truck handy to look at.
