Default Denali console project

I've been collecting parts for the console for a couple of years now. Finally decided to bite the bullet and buy the lower dash/bracket/glovebox piece from GM (OUCH!) so I could get it bolted up.

I found out that the front 1/2 of the console was broken inside, and it's not lining up right. But I'm going to play around with the mounting some more and see if I can get it adjusted properly.

I'm going to have the plastic dyed graphite to match, but I'm ditching the Denali wood. I'm going to have that painted blue to match the dash piece, and then I'm going to repaint the recessed portions of the dash piece and the gray parts of the Denali trim a darker graphite grey.

Anywho, here's the first set of pics after trial fitment. Enjoy!

I also need to figure out what to do with the spot where the factory changer goes. I'm thinking a piece of polished stainless/billet to match my dash kit?

For now, I'm going to leave the CD player where it is in the dash. I just need something to fill the gaping hole in the console where the CD changer should go.

That'll look sweet, not many Denali consoles out there (excluding Denalis of course)

Thanks. I was lazy and didn't feel like picking all that stuff up. Plus it was starting to get really dark.

2 immediate ideas came to mind here... either get a flip out screen and put it in there and figure how to switch between the two, or get some small random guages and make a dual or triple guage setup in there instead of having a huge chunk of billet sitting there uselessly in the console. Just my opinion.
