Default debadge...sun baked

how exactly would i go by debadging...it seems hard i started to try to pull off some of the stuff but it was stuck pretty good, also i have 2 tone...sucks, so i'd have to leave the molding. the truck is 6 yrs old and the texas sun has baked everything on pretty good. finally, if i was to get a roll pan, which color would i have it painted, top color-pewter-color of tail gate or the bottom color-charcoal gray?

I have a 2 tone and ordered a roll pan. I am going to paint it the bottom color (pewter on mine) and the bottom strip of the tailgate as well so that the line follows it all the way around.

makes sense, sounds like a good deal, im still workin on the go rather than the show for now though, oh so if you pull the modling on a two tone, does it leave nasty uneven paint lines underneath? woudl you recommend it?

i wouldn't think the lines would be uneven. i've seen two tone trucks without the molding on them from the factory, i don't think GM would change how they paint trucks with or without molding. and i would do like nightmarechevy said for his, i never understood why it wouldn't be done like that from the factory.

Probably so they only have to paint them in solid colors to save money. That way they will only have 1 tailgate for every main color no matter what 2 tone it has.
