a piece of fishing line the thin braided line works best(like spiderwire),wrap it around a piece of wood on each end leaving about 10" of line between wood than work the line back and forth between the paint and the badges.than the fun part, there is still some adhesive on the paint that you need to roll off with your fingers, you will prob get blisters and they will hurt but these are the things we do to make our trucks pretty.good luck.

Another vote for fishing line. Made it very easy and didnt damage the paint.

I tried fishing line and it kept breaking. Then a friend at a windshield shop gave me some thin string that feels to me like its covered with a wax or something. Used that on my badges and worked well which surprised me. Didnt leave any marks and cleaned up good.

Sorry you guys had to work so hard at getting the moldings off .Just hit mine with a heat gun and they fell right off two sided tape and all. There was two little spots of glue left I used a little paint thinner tho take that off and waxed the spots

I think tommorrow I will try the spiderwire, which I have a lot of! Tough ****! and probley a hairdryer to boot. I have the auto armour package done on on my truck, so I will be careful not to strip any of it off with any adhesive removers or bufferwheels etc. Does anyone exactly know what removes that protectant and what does not?
