I've kind of dreamed about this mod too. I miss not having the steering wheel radio controls in my truck that my Trans Am has....

You do know they make steering wheel radio controls for these trucks? I have seen them in Denali's and what not. My truck factory headunit is in my 95 firebird right now and the radio controls on the steering wheel work just fine, plugged directly into the back of the headunit.

Do you know of anyone who has done this install? Looks rather intensive, but I'd love to hear from someone who's done it already.

I commute to work in my truck, and the less I have to take my eyes off the road the better
