? Bringing back far gone Aluminum
#1
The aluminum wheels on my truck are in bad condition to say the least.
I will be keeping them on the truck for the foreseeable short-term future, but I am not looking forward to polishing them.

Anybody got any suggestions to make this easier?
Im also open to paying someone in east texas to do it lol
suggestions/comments?

Aklowrider is on the right track,
First start with "Zepalume" from Zep products , its sold at most semi truck places , for cleaning and brightening aluminum .
It's awesome , spray on , it foams right away and hose off . It works on raw aluminum though , not clear coated . Be sure to not breathe it As it will take your breath away , it's serious stuff !

should be doable if you see the result I got on my wheels.
Before

After

Don't know what the process is called but the wheels are put in a barrel with little polishing ***** and then they let the wheels turn around.

The result is truly amazing, a few pics of the process:

It's done in different steps, with different polishing stones. Depending on the state of your wheels, it can take more than 24 hours of work to complete.
