Just an update. The Hawk HPS pads have arrived and I have the calipers and brackets completely disassembled. They should be heading to the paint shop tomorrow evening. Here are some pics of the disassembled calipers and brackets.

I'm still waiting for the brake lines to arrive and I have to order the Powerslot rear rotors too.

Got the calipers and brackets back from the powder coater wednesday. I think they look pretty good.

I'm laid off from work next week so I'll most likely start reassembling them monday. The brake lines will be in on the 29th so I can get those swapped out next week too. Now I'm just waiting on the Powerslot rear rotors. I'm hoping to have the truck back on the ground by next friday or saturday.

Those things look sweet I would to get mine done also but in yellow. I think that yellow calipers would look real clean with a black truck!

Thanks. My total came to $175 for all four calipers/brackets. That price included a heated/chemical parts wash and complete sandblasting in addition to the paint. I'm pretty happy with the results.

Yeah, yellow would look good, especially on a black truck. I thought about for mine but red seemed to match up better.

I think that the red calipers would look real clean with the color of your truck. You got any pics yet of the install?

I'm waiting on my brakelines to come in too. Seems like a lot of people are ordering them now that they have the full 5 line kit.

Leochevy, I don't have the complete pics yet. I will soon though.

Low2000, my lines finally showed up on monday. That was after having to call twice to find out what was going on. Big thanks to Thunder Racing for taking care of it for me! I think you're right though, alot of people are ordering them right now.
