Man, my seatbelts really gotta work when I slam on my brakes!
Believe me, the Eradispeed's have crossed my mind and are still a possibility. However, the reason I'm sortof leaning towards the EBC rotors for the front is because I still put my stock wheels on especially during winter when I store my truck. Where did you find the Eradispeed's for $500??? TByrne has them for $659 but doesn't list the Silverado kit. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong ones?

Forgot the site, they are $550, sorry about the $50 being off. It is one of the links on the right. I only have the front kit, so if you are talking about using the rear kit also, then yeah, you can't use anything but 18" or larger rims. I wanted to get some slicks for the track, so I left the rear kit off. Bear told me that the rear doesn't help that much more, and the front does all the real work, but they said that it helps even out the braking with the rear kit also.

If you use your stock rims for like winter than I see what you mean.. I kept the stock parts just in case I have to do something like that.

They do look pretty cool.

They won't be going on until I get my calipers and brackets powder coated. I'm disassembling the calipers and brackets tonight and I'll be taking them to the powder coater on saturday. Once that's done and the brake pads and Earl's brake lines show up, I'll start reassembling everything. It will probably be a few weeks yet though.

Patience my friend. I'm waiting for the brake lines to show up in addition to the Hawk brake pads and Powerslot rear rotors. The calipers are almost completely disassembled but also need to be cleaned before going out for paint this week.

JSmith, I put my lines on this weekend! They look great! Other then that, the brakes are stock. I had to buy two extra soft mounting clamps, so the lines would not rub my tires. The install was cake!
I can feel a slight difference, the peddle does not shudder from 5mphs to 0mph anymore. It is one of those differences that I think I can feel, but would not know for sure till I have them on for a year, and for some reason take them off. You know, "don't know what your missing till its gone" thing. Which I won't be doing.

Cool! Glad everything went well for your install. What are those extra soft mounting clamps your were talking about?
