I use Mequiar's fine cut cleaner to remove water spots. 3M also makes a glaze that's supposed to be pretty good but I can't find it around here so I can't attest to it. Just make sure you wax afterwards.

the 3M rubbing compound is great.....wash it throughly....w/ dish soap.....maybe even clay bar.....use the compound like your waxing......remove the compound.....and then wax to a spotless gloss.....well worth the work.......as far as striping...im not sure....time and patience?....maybe a painter will chime in?..i took the pin off my S10 back in the die w/ my fingers...took a while...but it was safe...

i dont get water spots haha. nah you can use something like these guys are talking about if you get any. on the windows you can use a fine steel wool. you can also use that on the chrome bumpers. just has to be very fine. as far as the stripe i use a tool called a stripe eraser. looks like a big eraser pretty much.

For the pinstripe, I assume its the tape and not painted on right? If its the tape, just start at one end and start pulling. After you get it all off there will be so residue behind. Get some 3m adhesive remover to get that off. Then wax over the area.

You don't have water spot problems? I need to start going to Waycross to wash my truck then; the water in Homerville is horrible. Doesn't matter how I dry it, it still gets spots. I agree with the steel wool on the windows and chrome, that stuff works wonders. Just get 0000 grade which is the really fine. 000 seems to work on the harder stuff on the windows even though you gotta be careful as its a little coarser. I've used it with conjunction with Commercial grade Windex and it cleaned the outsides of the windows nicely. Just don't use it on the inside if you have tint.

see i'm not doing this for my truck, i would never allow water spots, it will at most go a week without a washing. it is on my friends truck, it looks like the pinstripe is stuck on, i spryed it with some adhesive cleaner and it stated to come a little

If waterspots are on the windows, I have heard to use toothpaste and wipe it off with newspaper. Never personally tried it, but everyone says it works well.
