Went 10.14/132mph in Colorado at 5000' elv. This was with GT76@20psi full weight one pass got thrown out, and blew turbo all in one...Could have prob nipped a 9.98 if I could have got a cpl runs to mess with it. This S480 Is making 24-25psi up here and burning same fuel as GT76 did at sealevel @20psi. Im confident It will go mid high 9's up here, and prob sub 9.50's at sealevel if engine holds
. Times in sig were at 800' elevation GT76 on 20psi so you can imagine what 25psi is like lol
Had to buy a new boost gauge, never thought Id need a 30psi gauge for a stock engine lol

127mph and 16psi in my truck at 4850lbs will bend and break the early style rods. S475/92 will make prob make 18 -20 psi at 3000'. I wouldn't even waste the time swapping heads on that engine unless you put better rods in it. Tty head bolts usually give up after a few months of around 15-16psi. Some last longer some less. Lighter truck easy launch good tune u should be able to break 130 for a little while with the stock heads and light rods.
