So I have a race with a buddy coming up he has a single cab 97 ram with a 5.2 with stock heads that are p&p he said it was 650 cfm 208/212 cam , 750 pump holly carb 4 speed trans 2200 converter , shorty headers and I'm putting together a 5.3 with a tsp 220 cam long tubes and a 3200 stall what do you guys think the out come will be

 

Is his truck 4x4 or 2wd and what's yours also rcsb escb ccsb 4wd 2wd and my guess is your going to win by alot

 

Both are 2wd and his is a single cab and mines an extended cab, I'm hoping I beat him I'd hate to lose to a mopar lol and it being my buddy would make it worse , I don't know much about the rams so I was unsure

 

I used to kill my buddies 98 rcsb ram 5.2 5 speed 2wd with my 01 5.3 and I was bone stock he had intake exhaust on his

 

I wasn't sure once I heard all that was done I kinda got nerves with him having his heads done I know the cams pretty small and I don't know much about carbs but I hear he can get more out of it and it being a holly double pump 750 I didn't know but thanks man

Does any one know if ill need bigger injectors or fuel pump with this set up I don't have the motor in and what about if I hit it with a 100 shot will I

 

i have a 04 ext cab 4x4 with a tr 220 cam. i had a 3200 stall . its fully bolted and i have heads. and it moves out good for a big *** truck. my guess is u will win but a good gap

 

idk bout what you would need for the 100 shot. but you can run stock with just the cam and bolt ons. allen at nelsons said my stock fuel pump is enough for all that and heads.
