I was driving home from work and heard a sick sounding mustang taking a turn so i pulled up next to him. I heard the BOV going off like crazy between gears. I got on it past him and he pulled up next to me asking what I had done the truck. Well we get to a straight part of the road and I hit it first and put a length on him, I hear him slamming through gears, and is inching up barely, but I held him off on that length up to 80 and let off. The road we were racing on was pretty damn bumpy (he started bottoming out and sparking on ****) so we decided to call it quits after another race up to 80. He was a real cool dude and said he just bought it from his friend who upgraded to an 03 cobra with some mods. I was suprized the truck did so well against him up to speeds close to 80-90 mph

And that was with the cutout closed

But to his credit, it sounded like he wasn't the quickest shifter in the world, and I'm sure he was losing some boost between shifts. But I'm in a truck so there are no excuses haha.

One run was from about 35mph in 2nd gear, and the 2nd run was from 20. We both spun (or at least I did) from the 20 roll because it kicked into first gear.

 

Nice kill but his car should have walked you. 10lbs of boost? Must have ran like crap, but then again it is a ford LOL
