denali truck vs viper truck

Default denali truck vs viper truck

Im procharged longtubes 2bar 11lb of b(@)(@)st and theres this lying *** guy saying his viper truck is making 800 hp and hes running 9sec in the 1/4. The only mods he had are a cold air and a catback. I was alittle intimidated at 1st but now hes claiming 9's in the quarter, i know hes lying. What do you guys think? Im gonna run him next week regardless of what he has but i really dont know anything about those trucks other than they are suppose to be fast.

Is his truck reg cab (M6) or quad cab (A4) ? And is your truck awd or 2wd? Ideally you want you awd vs him Reg cab M6...Suckers are a bitch to launch...Whatever the situation is, theres only one way to find out..DO IT and good luck

Thanks! Hes regular cab and im awd so i think ill kill him take off. Just worried im gonna run out of steam at 80mph. We'll just have to see!

The main thing you have going against you is weight, that and even though your AWD the centrifugal supercharger as you know is going to have to build some RPM to build good boost. I know being a 05 you have an LQ9 with 4.10s, but you didnt mention whether or not you have a looser converter. The main advantage you have over most folks is being able to smoke them off the line and making them catch you on the top end, so anything you can do to come off the line even harder will help. Really and truly I would think with the Procharger, your top end should still be there. Now if you are still using a stock converter or if an aftermarket single disc converter, your tuner most likely doesnt have you locking the converter at WOT. With a good converter that can handle WOT lock-up you should have a pretty viscous top end with 11lbs of boost.

Yeah ..Its funny but on the street a rcsb is slower than a ccsb 98% of the time..As Bear said if you built boost quicker you would kill him but with the awd/4:10 advantage you will pull him off the line, and then the Cent blower will take over up top..GL

he cant be running 9's lol the fastest viper srt-10 runs 10.70 in the 1/4

I think that guy is full of sh t. He's a bullsh t artist, always talking out of his ***. Im gonna run him Tuesday or Wednesday. Ill let you know. As far as the converter goes its the stock conv. I havnt built my trans yet so its living on borrowed time. Im waiting for a buddy to go to a 4l80 so i can buy his built 65. I really dont care if he beats me, I just dont wont to have to listen to his mouth. On the other hand if i beat him im gonna rag the hell out of him and his 9 sec truck(he wishes)!

there is a single cab viper truck in the single digits now . it made close to 1300 rwhp. built motor and big turbo. with only 800 rwhp he will be lucky to see 11's. they are very hard to drive as mentioned. bet him some money so it will be worth while to you.

Me and a buddy did some racing lastnight he has a 4 door SRT-10 Automatic Trans. Viper Truck I was in my crew cab mods are in my sig. We did a 70mph roll on the freeway I pulled about 3/4 of a truck right at the jump, he started pulling on me and flew past me at around 100mph those thing have some serious top end i was still amazed i pulled on him with my baby cammed 5.3 I really tought he was gonna kill me from the start.
