Default Charger SRT-8

In Chattanooga TN, on I-75 south. He came up from behind me, and I could see the scoop on the hood in my mirror. He was running about 85-90 miles an hour and I had to get over a lane to be beside him. I would like to say that I blew his doors off but he wouldn't even look over at me. I just ran beside him as he eased it up to about 100 and I romped on it pretty good and he still wouldn't look over. I guess he thought I wasn't worthy, maybe I wasn't but I would have loved to try!

If anyone is around here it was black, if anyone else gets a shot at it I would love to hear how it runs.

I think the SRT-8 will be good run. I'm guessing high 12's for a stock one. Just my guess.

I don't doubt it. That's why I would have loved it. The only runs I have had since the Radix is a Harley davidson F-150 , a cobra convertible, and a lightning. And I only beat the f-150, but I am not beating on my tranny real hard right now or I think I could've taken the L.

I don't know about a L.It depends on the year and if it was stock.

I work with the guy, it's got a couple bolt ons, exhaust, filter and some kind of handheld tune. It's a 00 or 01 model I guess, when did they go to the new style wheels? He only got me by a truck or maybe a truck and a half and I rolled into the throttle fairly easy. When we got out onto the road we went from 70 and I pulled him pretty good. I know they are quick, that's one of the main reasons I wanted the radix.

Plus in doesn't hurt I'm running a 3.25 pulley, headers, no cats, with a good tune.

Mid 12's.

Vid proof

Nice cars. I think they're ugly, but they're still nice.

I guess I am lucky he decided not to play. But I would still liked to see him get on it. It might have been something logical like he was breaking it in or just got a ticket or something, but why have a car like that if your not gonna play.

One of the strongest places for an L is from a dead stop. Other than traction the L will take off quickly. Try running your buddy from a stop and see what the differance is. Do you have any track times?

No track times. I only got the radix installed two weeks ago. I am trying to take it easy on my tranny until I can get a FLT, so no runs from a stop.

I am not trying to convince anyone I beat him, I didn't. But I think with the new tranny and being able to beat on it a little I think it will be awful close. We just ran on top end because we were there and playing. I felt a little more comfortable than hammering out of the hole.

The 01-02 wheels were the more jagged wheels like the ones in 203 Crees pic.The 03-04 wheels are alot smoother 5 spoke w/ a little indention down the center of each spoke. The 99-00 wheels are a 5 spoke that curve into the wheel. If it was a 99-00 they had the least power out of all the Gen 2s.Plus w/ those bolt ons they don't do so well after 70....they kinda fall flat on their face.https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...chmentid=37853
