Did a short stop light run with a black SS Camaro a couple years ago with just cam & headers. The LS3 SS manual pulled ahead as I spun the tires leaving the light. (2nd video)

Today I went to recycle my weekly trash and with the forecast calling for showers I was going to come right back to the house. The clouds gave way to sunshine and I decided it would be a good time to enjoy a short drive before the next summer thunderstorm pops up.

Cruising along listening to my oldies station I see a white Camaro in the rear view closing faster than the 60mph I was traveling. I move over to let him by and I see he's on the throttle closing even quicker. I ratchet the shifter into to 3rd and when he got close I let her rip. The old truck held her own this time against the mods unknown LS3 SS.

I wish I would have opened the bottle before I left but I wasn't expecting to cruise around today. The 100 shot would have killed the SS out for sure but should-a could-a would-a yada yada yada. I'm going to have to get a remote bottle opener to eliminate any more excuses

Wouldn't want the "Mexican" authorities to think I'm speeding in their jurisdiction.

I went at the starting LINE where the bridges concrete and the road asphalt meet...

It was pretty even... if I'd of waited you wouldn't have the cool footage to see

it's always a good feeling when somebody rolls up on you thinking they got something, but all they can do is play catch-up. sweet kill

and it's way more driving than i'll be able to do for the next few months
