Default 05 GTP vs lowered Silverado (99 to 02)

So here I am trying to find some dang wall speaker outlets (you know the back takes the speakwire in the wall and the front has binding posts to put the outputs in. Anyway, going from 2 to 1 lane I noticed a silverado that was a RCSB w/ annoying exaust turn in front of me. I don't really hurry to get to him but happen next to him in the lane that ends at the stoplight. Oh dang I think but then I remember I was driving the faster vehicle ( no doubt in my mind). As the light turns green I slowly roll past and he guns it like he's driving something fast (it was a 5.3 *or 6.0 no doubt as I would have been in trouble if I were stock but been about even) I punch it at about 15 mph and quickly walk away from him to about 60 or so, I start slowing down and like a typical ricer he rides right up on my *** after I was on the brakes slowly slowing back down. I would say that in the process of 15 to 60 or 65 I put 4+ lenghts on him and STILL pulling. with any hope next time he sees GTP on the back of a car he walks softly, very softly. Only posted this for fun reading (I drive a CC/SB Z71 everyday so it's fun to smack down people every now and then).

Note my wife's mods are:
Intake
Headers
Exhaust
Cam
Intercooler
Trans Cooler
Comp-G gear (WS-6 Factory)
Pulley
Tuning by Me and Windows.

It's a Grand Prix with a factory blower. Good family cars for people who don't wanna grow up.

Or someone who had just graduated from College and wants to wax about 90% of the cars on the road

Includes a low compression V-6 (8.5 to 1) 6 bolt mains, etc
Stock Eaton blower
very easy to make fast

Comp G adds different swaybars/shocks, paddle shifters w/ specific trans tuning and 3.29 axle ratio.

We have not run the car since the cam and intercooler. From other models I've seen similar I'd be in the 12 sec range. 98% of trucks out there aren't going to run 12s. He wasn't being an *** so much as over confident. Nothing like a little B!tch slap to keep him in check.
