Raced my part time friend in his 05 crew cab with 5.3, 4.10, tune, cam, nitrous (no jet in nozzle) ? shot. His trap speed went from 107 to 109mph from going from the 150shot jet to no jet so probably 175+shot with no jet. Anyway, 40-100mph he put 2 lengths on me (me on a 75 shot). Him spraying through shifts with no torque management, me letting off with 25% still in my stock trans.

After two more races of the same race I begin to close the margin of 2 cars on him (bottle pressure). Later after he torched the bottle for 15min, we did it from 25-100 with him on et streets and me on street tires. I saved the spray till 2nd because of traction and I put 2 or so on him to 100.

His best time is 14.3@93 all motor and 12.60@107.xx 1.81 60 hooking on spray with a 150 and this past weekend he did 109mph spinning. So, hopefully I can get faster than a 12.6 on a 75shot since I went 13.3@99 with a 1.801 60 spinning a little all motor.

 

Nice, you will get 12.6 or better. 12.4 is my guess. Call me.

good races...... that maroon cc really impresses me with the juice...
smart thing to do on the street to spray it until 2nd gear, most of us get anxious and want to do it in 1st knowing that we dont have any traction on the street..

The race was about what I expected considering the mods....him spraying 175+ through the shifts (where he pulled on me) with no tq management and ect...

But, from a stop at the track it will be a different story.

Yep, no traction in first doesn't help...he just got a dual stage and is looking to spray 300. lol
