How does that regulator compare to the A1000 version (pn 13101)?

Not sure, I think I'm the first one around here to buy one. Seems to be just as nice quality wise as their other regulators. I liked it because it has all -8 ports instead of -10 feed so I wont have to run any adapter fittings since the rails are also -8.

Thanks man, I'm hoping it will go together somewhat smoothly. I'm actually up in south DFW now but still in Longview on the weekends to see my son.

Sounds like it should run pretty well! Can't wait to see this progress.

Well now that Rick's twin scroll T6 manifolds are finished, I am thinking about ditching the hassle of fabbing up my own manifold and the spool valve and just buying one of his new manifolds. Thoughts?

It's probably a good manifold, however, I don't like the placement of the wastegate port.

I had thought about that as well, especially after all the research I have been doing on turbo setups and most recently wastegate placement. I have a PM in to Rick and waiting for a response, I hope to talk to him further about the new manifolds and the gate placement. I know after reading through his thread about the new manifolds someone had questioned the gate location and he responded back with that gate location was actually quite good for the twin scroll design. I guess I will find out more after I speak with him.
