I will tip my hat to ANYBODY that makes 1000 rwhp and drives to and from the track and backs it up with the times. Makes what Parish was doing a decade ago even that more impressive given that no one has really significantly surpassed that for a true street truck.

So basically once you go WOT, then the little light on the AFR gauge will go off if it goes above a certain value (say 11.5:1)? I've been wondering how that works.

My impression was opposite. It lights up for him below a certain threshold. This way when he is at his target its light up like a Christmas tree, and if something goes wrong and he goes lean the light will turn off.

oh, ok that makes more sense.

I like that feature of the gauge. Just looking for the presence or absence of a light signal is a heck of a lost easier to compute than a needle gauge with things happening fast.

Turbomic

The whole driving to track is over rated especially when you live hours away from it....have a trailer may as well use it

Going to start focusing soon on weight reduction since at this point that should be an easier way to go faster than adding more power.

Was doing some reading and silver-mod-o had his excab down below 4000 at one point! Kinda crazy considering mine is around 4870 now.

Currently, the only weight reduction is no hitch and no spare tire.

Things that sound like a good idea to remove:
-Rear bench seat (supposedly weighs 62 lbs)
-Get tubular 80e xmember from dirttrackracer (8 lbs versus my current overbuilt tank atleast 30 lbs)
-Bogart front wheels (17x7 with 235/65/17 would be in the range of 49 lbs each versus 72 lbs on my current 20s - saves 46 lbs
-Going to remove tire jack from interior (5 lbs)
-Possible remove front swaybar (40 lbs)

That's a pretty easy 175 lbs estimated, with 46 lbs less rotational wheel weight.

A fuel cell would be a great mod, not only for relocation of weight to a better location, but currently I run at the track with a full tank, probably around 23 gallons. Being able to run a fuel call @ 8 gallons versus 23 gallons stock tank is right around 100 lbs reduction with E85.

Have to run full tank because I effectively have no fuel pump bucket anymore

silvermodo claimed 3800lbs with no real weight removal, more then likely scales were off Hell skeets truck wasnt ever 3800lbs and he had weight reduction
