George, do you seriously just post to antagonize?

Being able to run a fuel call @ 8 gallons versus 23 gallons stock tank is right around 100 lbs reduction with E85
I'm well aware E85 is heavier than gas and if you actually read what I wrote, you'd have seen that.

Also, Ben never claimed 3800 lbs with no weight removal. His truck was in the 41xxlb range per his thread with some weight reduction, not unheard of as the early trucks were in the 4500lb range factory. Also, he had it weighed on 2 scales within 10lbs so it wasn't inaccurate. Maybe he will chime in himself to set the record straight.

I like that feature of the gauge. Just looking for the presence or absence of a light signal is a heck of a lost easier to compute than a needle gauge with things happening fast.

All my speedhut gauges (all 6) have a warning light. You set the high and low thresholds. So they light up when you outside those thresholds. The AFR gauge is different because it is triggered by a 12v source. So the warning light will only trigger if your outside the threshold AND the trigger source is set.

IMO it is alot easier to notice that warning light vs reading a gauge. That is one reason i live those speedhut gauges.

hmm, I find that actually annoying that the light requires a 12v input to set it off.

But I suppose with that, you could actually set it so the high threshold is say at, 11.5:1 and if you go above that (lean) at wot the light turns on. To me it's more intuitive to have a light turn on when something is wrong rather than the light turning off.

i didnt say 3800 with no weight removal but the weight he did removed wasnt going to net him that much, how can his truck be 3800 with hardly any weight removed being a xtra cab and skeets truck being a rcsb with weight reduction done and weigh in more?

I think you may have misunderstood what i was trying to say.

For example my warning light is set to "light up/turn on" if AFR is above 11.5ish or if it is below 11.0ish and the 12v trigger is set... I really only care about the warning if i am at WOT. So my trigger is based on a 5psi Hobbs switch. Without that trigger my warning light would stay on all the time in normal driving.

Ok got it. That's a smart way to set it up

I'm going to just set mine up so that the light comes on when I'm below a certain AFR. If it turns off when I'm WOT I'll know it went lean

Kinda, MY afr gauge is set to light up with I am outside my thresholds...

My FP gauge is set to light up when i am above 70psi... I am at 14psi boost and base FP of 58, so my FP at WOT should be ~72psi... I like knowing my FP is good so i like seeing the light...

Kinda odd and I am a retard but that is just how i have setup everything...

Personally I've never cared about FP. I have an electric fp sensor I log thru the EGR. If AFR is within target, fp is of no concern to me. At least not to the point where I need a gauge and light in cab. Seems like your truck lights up like an xmas tree at wot!

Yeah it lights up. That way i know what is going on with various things. I put like 25-30k on my truck a year and used to drive it everyday. I never log it anymore. I know your view point on gauges and stuff. I am just a little different is all but everything gauge related has a purpose it is not for show really. Honestly i hate the pillar pod.

At some point worrying about all that stuff becomes a nuisance imo. I look forward to the day I get into a fast factory vehicle and never have to worry about a damn thing. '16 camaro is trapping 116 with an automatic
