Cold side almost completely mounted. Perfect fit on the drivers side. Passenger side is a butch with all the coolant hoses. Do yourself a favor and drain the coolant before hand. I will shorten the water pump to radiator hose tomorrow and finish everything up. If i can get my hands on a oil dipstick tube it should be fired up tomorrow

Running a boost controller? Make sure you get the dipstick in all the way. Thought I had mine in all the way in and it would leak oil, thought it wa my oil pan so took it back off for nothing. I put a little grease on the dipstick o-ring and slid right in, no more leaks. Everything looks good.

This pic should show you everything you need to know about KB's pipe fitment. Ill be honest, i was a little concerned about this atuff fitting when i mocked it. But once i actually put it together fitment was perfect. The bead rolled ends on the pipes is a plus too.

Cold side finalized. Took some time and some cussing but got it all on. Fit is tremendous.

Also got the crossover pipe on, then couldnt fit the 4" DP from the top or bottom. Then realized pulling the tire and fender liner will give me the room i need. It was dark by then though, so tomorrow.

Gonna try and get an oil dipstick tube from GM tomorrow since 2 junkyards refused to sell me one today. Finish the DP and wastegate connection and finalize the vacuum tubing and some wiring odds and ends. It should be alive tomorrow.

Keeping the MAF??

I'd replace that spliced together hose with one piece. No reason to have that there just waiting to leak at this stage in the game, it would cost a couple bucks, take all of 5min to fix and probably save a leak and some headache down the road...

Yeah, I'll be using the MAF for the time being. The way I looked at it, even if I want to go to SD in the future it won't be a problem just to keep the MAF in the tubing and relocate an aftermarket IAT sensor to the EGR block off plate.

Regarding the oil line I think you're right. Still just pissed off I cut it too short.

Or just use the MAF as your IAT and have the option of going back for whatever reason if you'd choose later on.
