Here's how the fuel pump assembly ended up. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. You wouldn't know it wasn't all stock unless you looked inside the bucket and saw the pump itself. The corrugated tube was a b*tch to get on....until I got my heat gun out. But no worries about rubber hose becoming soft or blowing out.

Well, months after getting the kit on, I finally got this bitch WOT! Feels good. Saw a max of 8.5 psi and could only go up to 4900 rpm due to loss of traction and the street I was on. I had timing set up ultra low from when I initially put the boost tune in, so it was at 7.5* as high up as I went. I'm looking to up it to the 12-14* range next.
Also, word to the wise, put oetiker clamps on the in tank fuel pump hose even if using the stock style corrugated tube. If you look at the pic above, there's no clamp where the tube connects to the bulkhead. I didn't think it needed one as it was a mother to get over the barb and the stock tube has no clamps. I did have a clamp on the fuel pump side. Drove the truck about 5 miles and it died on the highway. The hose had popped off.
