I am completely impressed with the NGK NTK wideband oxygen sensor. Three years ago when I tuned this cam I spent hours literally trying to get low speed idle maneuvers as stock in speed density. I could never get it perfect. Only when I enabled the MAF would it act as stock. Well, the cold idle issues I was having with the E85 was because my VE table was flat out OFF. 2 drives to work later, I've got it dialed in driving like stock in SD. I had read an article where the LC-1 Wideband which uses the very common Bosch sensor was off by 1-2 points at times compared to the standard! Now I believe it.

The NGK AFX is the best wideband for the price.

Did some more part throttle tuning today. I'm seeing 4 lbs of boost in overdrive with 50% TPS. 4.10s aren't loading the turbo too well IMO. But damn, this thing feels like it gained some serious oomph in the part throttle accel category. This is about all the tuning I'm going to do until I get the upgraded fuel pump and injectors in. Truck is also feeling more peppy and responsive off the line since I was able to up the timing in that area with the ethanol versus gas.
Regarding WOT tuning, I'm honestly thinking about seeing if I can rent some dyno time to get it done. Doing it on the street won't be the best idea and the track wouldn't give me enough data time I believe.
Another note for anyone considering an EFI live custom operating system tune. Do NOT load a calibration with an Out of Range Values or you could suffer some serious consequences (blown motor). And, the VE values they have you put in the boost VE table are stupid rich. Liability I guess.

Walbro 450. Sucker is tiny but feels well built. I'm going to see how far this can take me at 17 volts. Hoping to get 700 rwhp through stock lines and regulator. If not, more changes will be in order. I considered the magnafuel 4303 but I could never find a straight answer as to how much it would support on E85. Also came across issues with it potentially overheating on long drives (stuck in Houston traffic in summer anyone?)
