Please sure some info on the clearance you have on the rear with the 315 and 6.5 bs. Can you use more rim back spacing. I'm thinking about get same setup but want the biggest wheel and tire in can. Thanks ahead of time.

Even like that my wheels didnt fit but it was a easy fix, Rich@bogarts said i was the first having that problem with drum brakes and was willing to have me a new set of wheels ready for the next day with a little less backspacing but i didnt think it was fair to make him spend money on a new set of wheels and shipping when i could easly fix it
I had the drums machined a little on the edge touching and now they fit like a glove

If i would do this all over again i would ask for a little more then a 6.5" backspacing, i know many members here are happy with that backspacing and i know its not far off but IMO the tire sticks a little to far out, maybe it looks different because its a step side not sure, im just glad i didnt go with a 315 tire

It occured to me having the drums machined in the area im point to 1/4" or 1/8" havnt fisicly looked how tick the area is, if i did that on both sides maybe i would look a little better

I dont think i had mentioned this before but after i put the truck together i saw right away passenger side was WAY higher then the driver side (13/16" difference in the front and 1-13/16" in the rear), since there had always been a little difference and i knew it was "chevy lean" problem i tried to forget about it but over the weeks it started to bug me everytime more, it was very noticable

Since i was pretty sure the difference hadnt been that big before i had everything apart it made me think if it could be the leaf springs so i changed the left to right and right to left, BIG difference now i still have the chevy lean problem but way less (12/16" difference in the front and 11/16" in the rear)

While im at it i´ll try and fix it as much as possible, i just ordered belltech 34931 3/4" front spring spacer wish i plan on installing on the driver side front

Im mentioning this in case u take off the leaf springs mark them and put them on like they came off
