I honestly would consider taking a look at these sensors. Not sure how you would graph on a tuner, my father is a mechanic so I have access to a snap on scanner, but my old tahoe would cut out consistently at 4100 rpm. You could stay under that and it would run fine, but hit 4100 rpm and regardless of gear, speed, throttle position, it would cut the signal to the coil. Noticed the crank position sensor would stop giving a signal at 4100 rpm, changed it and never had an issue after. Odd, as this was a 99 and all it provided was a 0/5v reference if it hit a tooth on the crankshaft's target wheel, but it worked.
If I knew what that meant I may try it.

If you have a COS with HPT, EFI wont read it. You will need to go back to stock and build a new COS in EFI Live.
I know for a fact you can do the Crank relearn with EFI live on your truck.
Otherwise find someone with a snap on scanner to do it.

3.0 officially came out and lasted what, like 4 months... Now 3.2 is out...
It was in the scan tool software I believe... I haven't used it though since the new software.
I do have an old 2.23 and a 2.24 copy of the CD if you need the older software.
