I think I got it to work... it's resting against the fans and I have about 1/4 inch of space between the silicon coupler on the intake tube and the belt. I don't love that, but it seems it will work well.

I will drive it later this week to see if it seems the issues are resolved.

Thanks.

It took some cutting to make it work... that was originally for the K&N set up and the MAF bolted to it. Hole was like 3.5". I hogged it out to work for the 4", and did the same last night to work with the 5".

I don't even plan on using a throttle body, im just going to regulate it with fuel like a diesel

back onto the topic of larger reliable DBW throttle bodies could a LSA or ls9 throttle body be bored to 102mm?

how much higher could you space up the blower and still clear the hood? if you had enough room it would get the intake tube above the fans
