So I will finally have time to begin to check my ground wires this weekend.

I know, as previously mentioned I need to check G102. there are 2 others on the back of the engine block as well. How many in total are there on the engine that I should be looking for?

I added a couple just for ***** and giggles...never hurts to add a 4ga engine block to frame, and similar block to body.

I definitely didn't grind the paint off where the grounds go... Rookie mistake. I'm feeling pretty confident this is my issue, of course this Hobby has a way of shaking your confidence at times...

We'll see.

Finally have some new plug wires on order... I think I may have found my most recent issue.

Again cyl #4. I have wire boots on there... but this is right up against the dip stick tube.

Even though your running those wire insulators, is there any thing around the dip stick area the wire could catch on or cause the damage your seeing?

Header Flange?
Is the Dip stick bracket sharp in that area?
