So Update(w/ no pics unfortunely):
Like Lee said I'm currently chasing mermaids out at sea and dodging cruise ships that have been run up on rocks but I figured since my truck was just sitting in a friends garage collecting dust I might as well get a few bugs worked out of it. Most of the items are nick-nack items that will make the truck rock solid relaible again, and since I am officially "homeless" and therefore don't have a garage anymore to work on my truck I figured I might as get these things done while I am at sea.
I took my truck to a shop nearby that I trust and so far they've been abe to
1) Fix my speedometer(simple swap of a couple wires I accidentally crossed in the tranny harness)
2) Swapped out my single efan for a dual set.
3) Installed 160 degree thermometer (your welcome Jarrett
)
4) Replaced all my plug wires (Sorry Curt, I gave up on yours
)
5) Wired my 2nd fuel pump to a Hobbs switch
6) Got rid of my ***** fuel filler that stuck out of the bed and installed a gas cap on the fuel tank and a door on the floor of the bed to access it since my tank is where the spare tire used to be.
7) Sorting out a loose ground wire fault that's killing my battery.
They are also pulling my tranny and sending it to Vince since it turns out I might of blown up the reverse band or a drum... I dunno yet. Vince is also going to refresh it while he's got it. I've got a few more months of work ahead of me so I'm having them build me a Coil-over set-up with a set of ladder bars. I have plenty of room with the stock fuel tank being gone and the exhaust run the way it is that hopefully something clean and functional can be figured out. That also means I can run some WIDE rims finally!
Truck should be done my late March so maybe/hopefully I'll have some pics for everyone by then. My goal is to compete and win in this years Truckin Throwdown. Haven't heard if Ive been invited but I'm crossing my fingers.
