I picked up my truck today from the tuners at 5pm. They called me at 3pm and told me that they were currently making 668rwhp / 637rwtq at 12lb of boost, no meth on 91 octane and the dyno room temp was 105 degree. They asked if I wanted to keep going and turn up the boost some more and start tuning with meth and I told them no, it was not necessary.
Reason being is that I'm actually really pleased with those numbers for right now, and I'm at the point where traction is an issue and not power. I also really need my truck the next few days because I'm moving and packing up my house. So I figure once things calm down in my life and the weather cools down a bit more, I'll put in a few more lb of boost, add some meth and see what the truck will do in cooler weather. My guess is low 8xx's.

Here's the dyno sheet

Also...when I first brought them the truck they threw it up on the dyno just to see what's what and it was determined that on 5 cylinders at 7.5psi the truck was making 321rwhp!! That's what I was competing at during the Truckin Competition!!

So anyways, trucks' back home and I unloaded my bike out of the back and took the truck out for a test spin finally and it is a whole lot of fun! I've only done a few pulls in first and second gear but once she hooks she pulls really hard!
If I get a chance I'll see if I can't get some vids next week.
sounds awesome!668rwhp is PLENTY; just enjoy the hell out of it now; don't worry about all the mega horsepower internet talk; enjoy your success; it's been a long road for you

Yeah, it's set to pull to 6600 and I'm not sure I like that so I'll probably change the shift points like we discussed a little later when I'm done moving.

I'll try and dig up an old dyno sheet to compare them.
You moving to Texas?
I might, I'm gonna drive from coast to coast to coast next spring/summer and plan on passing through texas a few times and if I come across somewhere I really like, I'm gonna stop there for a while!

Yeah, it's kinda fun to think this is all on shitty pump gas, conservative AFR, 17 degree's of timing and no meth.

I'm moving in when you take me to a Ron White concert!! I'll be driving through Austin a few times so you'll see me with my Toy Hauler once or twice. I need to get/buy an ATV so I can go riding with Stewie.

What was causing it to run on 5 cylinders?
One burned plug, one broken wire boot which had poor plug contact and one of the coil pack plugs was bad. I also had three new wires made so for now everything's working as it should. I'll probably end up replacing the other 5 wires as well but it's not something that's pressing.

Yeah your not kidding.
Thanks though, I'll be up in the valley later today and might go to Bob Big boy's in Burbank tonight. Not sure what you up to.

Despite what I do to this thing...it's still a truck and I beat on it just the same.

Yup, can't wait to take this truck to the desert and mash on some roads in the dead of the night!!
And yes you can throw some suspension on this but just not Wes's!!

I'm moving from Manhattan Beach California and I'm moving to...I have no idea. Moved all my stuff into storage, have tenants who want to sign a 1 year lease on my place and I'll sell it after that. But as far as where in the world I'm moving to, I have absolutely no idea!
Damn I should start a thread to ask people if they like where they live! Anyways, doesn't matter right now, just bumming it on friends couches for a little while until I ship out again. Once I get back I'll figure out what I wanna do with my life.

You should just set up a tipi in the dunes. Get some paddle tires on the truck....it'll be fun I promise
