Just got word from my tuner today that it's making 600 rwhp at 8lbs of boost. Gonna start cranking it up tomorrow, hopefully go to 16psi...shooting for 800+ to the wheels!

Crank it up, you'll get to that turbos sweet spot

Patiently waiting...

Well, here's an update!

Picked her up today!

I picked up my truck today from the tuners at 5pm. They called me at 3pm and told me that they were currently making 668rwhp / 637rwtq at 12lb of boost, no meth on 91 octane and the dyno room temp was 105 degree. They asked if I wanted to keep going and turn up the boost some more and start tuning with meth and I told them no, it was not necessary.
Reason being is that I'm actually really pleased with those numbers for right now, and I'm at the point where traction is an issue and not power. I also really need my truck the next few days because I'm moving and packing up my house. So I figure once things calm down in my life and the weather cools down a bit more, I'll put in a few more lb of boost, add some meth and see what the truck will do in cooler weather. My guess is low 8xx's.

Here's the dyno sheet

Also...when I first brought them the truck they threw it up on the dyno just to see what's what and it was determined that on 5 cylinders at 7.5psi the truck was making 321rwhp!! That's what I was competing at during the Truckin Competition!!

So anyways, trucks' back home and I unloaded my bike out of the back and took the truck out for a test spin finally and it is a whole lot of fun! I've only done a few pulls in first and second gear but once she hooks she pulls really hard!
If I get a chance I'll see if I can't get some vids next week.

Good that you're finally driving it! I bet it's alot of fun. AFR at 11.0 means that it's got more in it as well!

Yup, Good eye! I asked the tuner to keep it a bit on the rich side to keep it cooler and safer until the cooler weather hits. This is also my only car now as I sold my DD so aside from the bike, I'm gonna need this thing to be reliable so that's also why I didn't push it anymore... yet. But with some better fuel, meth, more boost, more aggressive AFR and play with the timing I think this GT-42 is gonna have it's hands full!!

It will be a night and day difference with the meth and cooler temp even at that same 12psi. Around 15~16 is where that GT42 will hit it's sweet spot and really start to shine. 12~16psi is a huge jump on a combo like that. Lol at the little 215 Isky and 317's pulling to 6500 +

That's awesome!! I'm glad ya got it back and running good.

I'll try and dig up an old dyno sheet to compare them.

While the power numbers aren't crazy, the fact that that's with no meth and on 91 is pretty badass. So when are you moving in? I'm building a shed out back, I wouldn't charge you much rent to live out there

Awesome- nothing like 668/637 being detuned

What was causing it to run on 5 cylinders?
