Congrats on the write up in GMHTP in the project car section! Hope everything goes together well and way to represent the trucks.

Haha! Sweet! I didn't know I got a small write up, what's it say? I tried finding it on their website just now but I couldn't find a project car section on their website. It's a long shot but I'll see if I can't find a GMHTP magazine in Japan in a few days when I get in.

(Btw...for those interested, when I was plotting our course to Japan earlier this week I made it a point to sail over the epicenter of the Japanese earthquake. Should be there tomorrow about mid day. There's obviously not gonna be anything there but still thought it be cool to do. I did the same thing 6 years ago in the Atlantic and sailed over the spot of where the Titanic had sunk.)

For those who might be interested, there's a thread on tech that one of the editors of GMHTP has going on, they are always looking for pictures of people's rides and what not. I figured what the hell and posted a picture of my truck and engine bay and figured nothing of it. I got an email from a guy at GMHPT about 3 months ago asking a few questions but never heard back from him. So if anyone else is interested in doing that check out the thread on tech.

As far as news on the truck front...exhaust is done. I have pictures of it but photobucket is blocked so I can't upload them. I emailed them to someone and hopefully they will get around to posting them. The whole exhaust has been sent to Arizona to get ceramic coated. Which reminds me, does anyone know if it's illegal to do ceramic coating in California? I was told that by a shop. I find it hard to believe considering Truckin magazine this month has an article on powdercoating and ceramic coating and the shop that helped to with the write up was in Huntington Beach california, so I can't imagine it's really illegal to do that. But california is weird like that so I guess it could be true.

Anyways, should be picking it up in April...hopefully.

I always liked Julian's truck, it's super clean. As for ceramic coating in CA being illegal, thats a no. A shop up north near Sacramento specializes in ceramic coating, and pretty much any type of coatings.

Thanks Curt! I was actually bugging Jarrett (stock48) about posting them up but he's always busy chasing around other dudes , so it's always a waiting game with him.

Thanks Chris, that's what I figured as well but wasn't sure. I know of a couple shops out here that do it too, so I was a bit baffled when I was told that. Oh well, whatever's cleaver...

Thanks buddy! I'll be hitting you up as soon as I figure out what I'm doing. Right now I'm a little busy but in 10 days when I'm headed out of the Far East and back towards the US I'll probably PM chase and see if he's available to help tow my truck back home. If not I can always try AAA but they give me a hard time when I try to get a flat-bed. Either way I'll let you know Brock!!
