I was planning on using Black! Grabbed the wrong color paint can!! But I think it looks good still, it's not orange but Red. Camera didn't pick up on it too well.

I haven't grounded anything yet, no block, no frame no nothing. I will soon though, I first need to figure out where to mount the battery.

The filter housing is flared inside each end, and all the threads, unless I'm mistaken are AN. Someone mentioned that there is a O-ring groove on either end of the filter housing, can I just grab some O-rings at home depot or where-ever and throw some on? Any special type of rubber needed?

That would suck since I just bought these and can't return them because they are a bit scratched up!!

Hey Richard, how much did it cost to get your injectors checked/cleaned? I got a place down here that does it but they are asking $24/per for cleaning and $12/per for checking. Sounds expensive to me!

As far as the hot wire kit, your basically going to use the factory pump hot wire, to trigger the relay, and let the relay feed the pump (with the bigger wire)

I searched tech, but couldn't find a how to. Its stupid easy tho.
Yup yup
The more I do the more I realize everything is stupid simple, it's just learning what it is that I'm supposed to do that's the challenge, after that it's all simple!

I just paid $96 for checking, and they also replaced the SS mesh filter in them but that's it. They all read excellent which is good but still, $96 + tax for 10 minutes of work...

The o-rings would have to be Viton to resist fuel.

Thanks, I like it too, I can always change it down the line if I wanna do it a different color, wouldn't take but 15 minutes and a day to dry, no biggie. I'm gonna wait till it's all back together to make a final decision on it but I think I'm gonna keep it, it matches the brakes!!

For right now, just so I can move on to other things I'm gonna run with it the way it is, I should be testing the pump here at the end of the week to check for leaks so I'll revisit everything then.
Concerning those O-rings, if I bought them could I just slap those O-rings on the reducers that I currently have? If so I'm just gonna do that. I'm gonna double check my parts list here and see if that is in case the filter, I looked inside both ends and they are both tapered JIC/AN wise.

Your AN fittings have 37 degree flare seats. A lot of the filters and hardware use an o ring seal so you will need an o ring by 37* AN adapter. For example; if your filter is -10 and your line is -8 you would order two -10 o ring by -8 AN adapters.

So a few things...

Got this done...

+

+

+

=

I also finished all the fuel lines. Again I'm gonna revisit the fuel filter connections after I test the fuel pump and what not. My guess would be it's gonna need some new fittings. Anyways, here's what I came up with...

And then up to the engine...

So aside from that, I have two questions!
First being, where does this plastic harness clip "clip in"!??

I feel like an idiot because it's on the tip of my brain but I just can't recall where exactly it goes. It's the wiring harness for the starter that wraps around the front of the oil pan/block.

Second question is, anyone have any idea on how to remove a stuck harness plug?? This is the plug in question, it's part of the tranny control module...

I'm affraid I'm gonna snap or break it if I try to pry it out anymore, I've tried pliers, screw-drivers, channel locks...anyone have any other ideas? WD-40 maybe?
