Hah. So the whole fire extinguisher/restaurant incident was the same incident that killed the piston?

 

yep....piston melts, big hole lets crankcase get pressurize, blows oil everywhere, high heat melts ac line, freon mixes with oil on turbo blanket and catches fire...

 

Soooo, any chance of getting a GoPro mounted under the hood this time............ You know, just in case......... Would be an EPIC vid for PT.net.

 

Richard, you should mount one in the cylinder too. So we can see the damage being done first hand.

Sounds like that was quite a bit-o-fun lol apparently this happened b4 I wandered onto the site.
Got the housing ordered, MAY be Monday (could still show up Friday) b4 it makes it, since it didn't get ordered until this morning...

 

Thats fine, I may end up not needing it actually, but still want it to satisfy my curiosity. And yes, the fire thing was back in January

everybody is poking fun at you for all the mishaps you've had, but I gotta give you props for not giving up.
