80e, but the converter is made to fit on the 60e flexplate bolt pattern so you dont need a spacer..

I believe he has been doing the 6 bolt thing for a long time, you just tell him what trans its for and what flexplate you want to use. I specifically requested the 6 bolt ls1 pattern.

So I realized last night I made a mistake when checking pushrod length; I was checking cylinder number 1 when I should have been checking cyl 6. Base circle of number 1 is with the cam gear dot at 12 and crank dot at 12, not cam at 6 and crank at 12 (cyl 6). Rechecked and got zero lash measurements of 7.25 on the intake and 7.225 on the exhaust, so the 7.300 3/8" pushrods I got will still work fine, just with slightly less preload than originally (0.075).

I've kinda been following your builds, but can you explain the background behind all the scars on the flexplate?

Yea the torque converter bolts came out and got trapped between the engine and flexplate

Don't know if you've already done it or not, but you may want to remove the coating around the bolt holes on that flexplate. Search TCI flexplates on LS1tech and you'll see what i'm talking about.

That should still be fine.. From what I read the ls7s like alittle more preload closer to .100 but as long as it doesn't make a lot of racket you should be just fine
