well if you think about it, if one tries to flex and the other can't flex as freely the cast will stress and could crank the bell housing. However I'm sure rubber and poly are close I just wouldn't want to take the risk. That's at least my understanding of it.

How much you want for them, is your tranny mount polyurethane?
I've had 1 of them mounts for years, bn in box. I'll bet it's same p/n. IIRC, it was for my other truck project.

No problem bro, I'm sure I'll run into something else here soon enough where I'll need something pretty simple that maybe I can buy off your parts truck. I definitely don't need the whole truck though!!
I ran down the street to the Power Chevrolet that is no more than 300 yards from my house today to see if I can't get some dowel pins and the freaking place is boarded up and shut down!!! HAHA (I hated them anyways, not friendly, cocky and arrogant). Anyways...so yeah they are closed so I have to book it a little further to find a GM dealership but hopefully to a better GM dealership to get my parts now.

I'll call you tomorrow Joseph, I have a line (Big Dave) on a 105amp alternator but you wouldn't happen to have a 145 amp do you?

OK...I came in on this thread late...Love the intake on the truck...I can't wait to see it on for real and see some dyno numbers on it. Are you going to have before and after numbers?

As far as the tranny goes, if you have the spare coin I would get a B&M deep tranny pan. I think I paid $190 for mine from TR (Thunder Racing). It holds 3 extra quarts of fluid and has fins for cooling. It also has a side access for a temp sensor already. http://thunderracing.com/catalog/?ac...vid=3&pcid=183

As far as the tranny goes, if you have the spare coin I would get a B&N deep tranny pan. I think I paid $190 for mine from TR (Thunder Racing). That looks very good!! I am definetely gonna get an aftermarket pan as soon as I get this thing up and running down the road. I don't want to get caught in that never ending cycle of adding things to the build before it is even done. Yeah it might be easier to do a couple of these things now but right now I think I want to see it on the road first!!

So I'm adding the tranny pan to the list of todo things.

And I don't know what you mean about the before and after dyno number but I will do one first thing when the truck is up and running with a tune and tests along the way as I add stuff. I like watching the evolution of power upgrades with dyno sheets so I go there alot.

Might be? I wouldn't want to drain again. Do it once, call it done. Altho I can appreciate not wantin to add things before done.

I was wondering if you were going to use your stock intake and dyno and compare it to the Edelbrock? But I know what you mean about getting it up and running. I probably would not put on the stock intake first and then put the new one on...just to dyno and tune twice. Good Luck though. Looks like you have a good project going.

I did a motor swap in my SS. Blew the #7 piston...had to go and put in a 408 oh...the things we (motor heads) suffer through.
