So I finally went and did it and bought some suspension pieces! Only took me 5 years to pull that trigger!

Ended up getting 6" front control arms and 8" rear flip kit from DJM

upper control arms...tape measure shows the flat pieces of metal to be right around 1/4" thick, welds are nice and even, prothane polyurethane suspension bushings, the tubular pieces look to be solid steel, overall they are very well built!

here you get an idea of how thick the metal is:

Next are the lower control arms and these things are built like tanks! They are heavy as hell, flat metal pieces are right at 3/8" thick, the torsion bar junction is extremely beefy (something pictures can't quite capture), again tubulars look to be solid steel, everything looks VERY strong!

tried to use something to give you an idea of the size of these things:

the rear flip kit consists of a carrier bearing bracket, leaf spring flip components with U bolts, and heavy *** C notches. This was the heaviest box of the bunch and the C Notches are just plain beefy! 3/8" thick frame plates with 1/4" thick arches!

doing a little maintenance this weekend and needed a new floor jack.....this is a great piece @ $99 from Costco....one of the better made in China floor jacks I've seen:

Pretty pathetic when you do an oil and filter change for time rather than mileage Oil in the truck is a year old and has 1k on it
going with Pennzoil Ultra 5"dub"30 and k&n for filtration/flow
